Junior Seminar
Juniors meet with the college counselor in small groups for three sessions during second semester so they can build upon their experiences on the College Tour and continue refining their college search process.
Issues discussed include the steps and the resources that are necessary for the college search and an explanation of commonly used terms. Guidelines for building and clarifying a list of colleges appropriate for each student are explored so students will be prepared for college visits during the spring and summer.
Students and counselors review PSAT scores and make suggestions for preliminary work on college applications in the late summer.
