Fourth Grade Social Studies



In Social Studies, students explore the Eastern Hemisphere. As they travel the continents of the East and study the various countries and their cultures, class readings reflect that particular area of study.

Map skills, comparing and contrasting, organizing information, geography skills, and appreciation of different cultures are areas emphasized. Sample activities include retelling folktales, research projects, and small group presentations.
