Seventh Grade Mathematics



Students in seventh grade continue their preparation for algebra within three different courses.

Pre-algebra BC is a year-long course that is a traditional preparation for taking Algebra 1BC the following year.

Pre-algebra AB has a curriculum that closely mirrors that of pre-algebra BC, but will progress at a pace suited for the students in this class.

Pre-Algebra 7 is the first part of a two year study of mathematics that transitions the developing mathematical mind from the concrete principles of arithmetic to the abstract and analytical reasoning of algebra.
