Students new to the school who need assistance in learning background material for a specific course:
  • Meet with classroom teacher for assistance
  • Meet with academic tutor until weaknesses are remediated
Students experiencing academic difficulty in a particular class:
  • Should meet with classroom teacher for assistance
  • In addition, may receive one-on-one tutoring for the period of time needed to remediate a specific area
Students having difficulty with time management, study skills, and organization:
  • May meet with an individual tutor during study halls or after school
Students with specific learning differences:
  • May receive one-on-one or small group assistance from a learning specialist
  • May be assisted in implementing recommendations from educational evaluations
