Emily Pastore is currently the Middle School Drama teacher at Athens Academy. She teaches 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th grades and directs the Middle School show in the winter.

Emily began her theatre career many years ago as a freshman in high school; however, those close to her would say she's been performing for a lot longer. While attending South Plantation High School she was drawn to the department of theatre and was inspired by her director to continue her education in theatre at the collegiate level.

She attended Florida Gulf Coast University in Ft. Myers, FL. While at FGCU she was actively involved in the department of theatre as Vice President of the Alpha Delta Kappa chapter of Alpha Psi Omega (drama honor society). Emily graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre. She received her Master of Arts degree in Performing Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design. Emily hopes to continue her education further and get her PhD.
