Types of Service Projects
As one of the four pillars of an Athens Academy education—Academics, Athletics, Arts and Service—service projects come in many sizes and shapes. They can be of a short duration or long. Projects can be ongoing, have a time limit, or a finite completion point. They can be done on campus, off campus, or at a distance. They can be performed individually or in groups or clubs.
Most service experiences are provided directly and consistently through the student-led service clubs or the annual student-led Service Day and other school-wide offerings.
