On-Going Projects
- Blood Drives - The senior class hosts the three American Red Cross Blood drives that have been an Academy tradition since 1995.
- Relay for Life Fund-raising events take place on campus throughout the year. Bake sales, cookouts, T-shirt days, and “penny wars” have all been utilized in the past to earn money on behalf of the American Cancer Society.
- Shelter Dinners occur at the Athens Area Homeless Shelter every Friday evening. Students are actively involved in planning, preparing, and serving these meals to resident families.
- On-Campus Recycling is sponsored by our freshman class. Each week advisory groups take turns collecting paper, aluminum cans, and bottles from the collection bins located throughout the Upper School campus.
