Lower School Orientation


Spring: May 18, 2012 at 5:00 p.m.
Board of Trustees Welcome and Orientation for New Families, followed by an all-school cookout at the football stadium.

Summer: Each new family is assigned a current family as a “buddy." The buddy family has a child in the same grade as the new family. The buddy family will contact the new Spartans during the summer. Class lists and back to school packets are mailed mid summer to all families.



Back to School:

August 20, 2012 - This day is an important key to the school-family partnership that leads to the success of our students. The Middle and Upper School have a regular school day while the Lower School is involved in the following:
  • 9:00 a.m.-10:15 a.m.Student Orientation - First through Fourth Grade) Parents may either bring their children to the homerooms or drop them off at the curb. While your child is having their orientation, you should attend the Parent Service Organization (PSO) Volunteer Sign-up Coffee. Students will be packed up and ready to be picked up beginning at 10:15 a.m.

  • 9:00-10:15 Parent Meeting/PSO Volunteer Sign-up Coffee: Parents are invited to meet in the Harrison Center. There will be a brief Parent Meeting with a Parent Service Organization (PSO) coffee and the opportunity to sign up for a wide variety of volunteer activities.

  • Lower School Parent Night
    This is a time for parents to meet the Homeroom Teachers and hear all about the program.

    6:15 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. - 1st and 2nd Grade Teacher Presentations in their rooms

    7:15 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. - 3rd and 4th Grade Teacher Presentation in their rooms
