Prechool Orientation


Spring: May 18, 2012 at 5:00p.m.
Board of Trustees Welcome and Orientation for New Families, followed by an all-school cookout at the football stadium.

Summer: Each new family is assigned a current family as a “buddy." The buddy family has a child in the same grade as the new family. The buddy family will contact the new Spartans in the spring. Class lists and back to school packets are mailed mid summer to all families.


Back to School: August 18, 2012

The Preschool will host "Make a New Friend" grade level playground parties.

*K3 at 9:00 a.m.
*K4 at 10:00 a.m.
*Pre-first at 11:00 a.m.


August 19, 2012 - Parent Meet the Teacher Afternoon
1 p.m.-4 p.m.


August 20, 2012 (First day of school)
  • K3/K4 Orientation-(8:00 a.m. or 8:30 a.m.- you will receive a mailing in the summer) the teachers have a special orientation time for the student and their parent(s). The twenty-minute, small group visit (5-10 students & parents) provides an opportunity for your child to become comfortable with their teacher and new classrooms.
  • Pre-First Orientation - 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. Students only in the classroom.
  • Parent Service Organization (PSO) Welcome Back Fall Coffee for all Pre/Lower school parents 9:00 a.m.-10:30a.m. in the Harrison Center.
