Transportation

Bus Service:

Athens Academy provides transportation services to families in Clarke and Oconee counties, Lake Oconee, Madison, Greensboro, and other outlying areas. Service is provided in the morning and at the 3:20 dismissal. Routes are selected to serve the largest number of families while minimizing the ride for the students. Families registered for bus service will be notified in mid-August about the time the bus will arrive.

There are discounts available for multiple children in a family and for students who only wish to ride the bus to school in the morning. View bus fees. Contact Jerris Hayes at 706-433-2542 with any questions about this service.

In the morning, all buses arrive at the Tillman Center between 7:50–8 a.m.
In the afternoon, all buses load at 3:20 p.m. at the Tillman Center.
