Welcome Alumni!
As a new school year begins, Athens Academy’s students are back on campus, ready to learn. Faculty members are back as well, finalizing lesson plans, organizing classrooms and labs, and getting ready for a new year. It wasn’t so long ago that we alumni were students, writing papers, studying for tests, and working hard. We have gone on to careers in medicine, law, science, literature, and the arts—locally, nationally, and internationally.
As the Alumni Association President, I am excited to serve with an outstanding group of individuals on our board. The board includes Vice President Greta Terrell Covington ‘82, Frieda Barber Clarke ‘83, Campaign Co-Chair and board members: Henry Garrard ‘92, Andrew Herrin ‘86, Kim Elder Holt '91, Rodney Howell ‘94, Von Massey ‘80, Eddie Nichols '90, Beth Strickland Thomas ‘90, and Corky Warner ‘90.We will continue our effort to contact each alumnus for updated information, especially an email address.
