Alumni Association Membership
Duties of Officers:
President: It is the duty of the President to coordinate, plan, and preside at all meetings of the Association and to perform all tasks necessary to promote the efficient conduct of the affairs of the Association. The President coordinates all of the activities of the members of the Board and oversees the coordination of the Alumni Annual Fund. The President serves on the Executive Committee and the Nominating Committee. The President is responsible for submitting a full accounting of the affairs of the Association to the Board of trustees of Athens Academy.
Vice President: The Vice President is responsible for handling the activities of the Association during the absence of the President. The Vice President serves on the Executive Committee and on the Nominating Committee.
Past President: The Past President serves on the Executive Committee and as a member of the Nominating Committee.
Board Members: The members of the Board shall be responsible for handling the activities of the Association as directed by the Board.

Ex Officio, Non-Voting Members of the Board: The Headmaster, Director of Development, and Alumni Coordinator shall advise and give direction to the Board.
Alumni Development: Alumni volunteers work on campaigns as indicated by the Long Range Plan and work with the Division chairs.
Division Chairs: The Division Chairs oversee the Class Representatives in contacting all members of their respective classes. They keep Athens Academy informed of their classmates' current addresses and any news for Class Notes for Accent. The Division Chairs are available to assist the class reps with class reunions and with the Alumni portion of the Annual Fund.
Special Events Chair: The Alumni Association sponsors several events throughout the year; the Special Events Chair oversees these events. These include the Alumni Fall BBQ, the rotating Atlanta/Athens Alumni Party, and the Senior Luncheon.
The Executive Committee: This Committee consists of the President, Vice-President, and Past President
