Payment and MealpayPlus Registration
We are pleased to offer two payment programs for Lower, Middle and Upper School lunch at Athens Academy.
- Students or parents can bring cash or a check to the Tillman Center during lunch hours to pay on the student’s account.
- For your convenience, use the MealpayPlus program. MealpayPlus is a debit system accessed via the student’s MealpayPlus account on a secure web site or the program's toll-free number. The account can be replenished via check, credit card, or debit card.
The MealpayPlus system:
- Eliminates the need for cash or lost lunch money
- Can be replenished 24 hours a day, seven days a week
- Allows parents to monitor how money is spent
Registration
- To register you will need your child’s pin number (please refer to the school’s mailing or call 706-549-9225)
- Go to www.mealpayplus.com and select the “Register” tab on the left side.
- Select “Start Registration” on the bottom right.
- Enter the appropriate information
- You will be sent an email to confirm final registration.
So that no child is denied a lunch, each student’s account has an individual credit limit for $25.00 of dining services. This amount represents approximately one week of lunch charges in the event it is not immediately convenient for the parent to access the MealpayPlus system or bring funds to the Tillman Center. Outstanding balances will be transferred to the Academy’s billing system at the end of the month and will include a 15% service charge.
