Georgia On Your Mind - This site has links to lots of information about Georgia, including pictures of the world's largest peanut and Georgia's Statue of Liberty.
Athens, GA - Learn about the local community by visiting this site that includes current and historical photographs of famous places and people in this area. Let your cursor hover over the photos on the home page to identify the picture.

Kids in the House - Don't miss this site for the very basics of U.S. government.  It is an interactive site that helps kids learn about the U. S. government, including how laws are made.
Westward Ho! Shall We Go? - Students begin a webquest at this site that places them in Wahoo, Kentucky in 1830 considering a trip west.  Find here a list of web links to explore this period of history and the journey west.
