Spartan Football advances to Class A State Quarterfinals!
Congratulations Spartans! The football team advanced to the Class A State Quarterfinal's with their 17-14 win vs Mt. Pisgah Christian. Come cheer on the Spartans this Friday, Nov. 30th, as we will host region foe Prince Avenue Christian School.
The football team advanced to the Class A State Quarterfinal's with their 17-14 win vs Mt. Pisgah Christian. Friday, Nov. 30th, we will host region foe Prince Avenue Christian at 7:30 pm with an opportunity to advance to the semi finals, equaling the "deepest" playoff run by an AA team (2006 & 2007).
Unfortunately, the admission price is once again $12........but, this is cheap compared to the semi final $15 and state championship $20 admission prices. :)
Please plan to attend and support the Spartans in what is sure to be an exciting night at Slaughter Field! If you are out of town and unable to attend please view the Media & Tech Club's student led webcast of the game at www.athensacademy.org
We are expecting a huge crowd so please arrive early!
