1. In Andrew Marvell's poem "A Dialogue between the Resolved Soul and Created Pleasure", the Soul is portrayed as good, and the Pleasure is portrayed as evil. The poem ends with the Soul's triumph. Discuss whether or not Marvell creates such distinct differences between the Soul and Body in his poem "A Dialogue between the Soul and Body". Is one good and the other evil? Does the Soul triumph over the Body?

2. In lines 37-38 of "A Dialogue between the Soul and Body, Marvell describes Joy and Sorrow as having very similar affects. Discuss how this comparison is similar to that of the Soul and Body.
