Activity 1:

Percy Blysse Shelley, a contemporary of Keats’s also wrote an ode to autumn titled “Ode to the West Wind.” Compare and contrast Keats’s and Shelley’s depictions of autumn. How are they alike and how do they differ? Both are Romantic poets, but what does autumn mean to Keats and what does it mean to Shelley? Include literary devices in your discussion.
