Prep Round Up - ABH
ATHENS ACADEMY 63, COMMERCE 62: At Athens Academy, Deion Colzie scored the game-winning bucket with 1.8 seconds remaining as the Spartans improved to 8-7 overall and 5-4 in Region 8-A.
Colzie was the game’s leading scorer with 30 points and made it a double-double night with 13 rebounds. Jack Nasworthy added 11 points, six assists and three steals.
For Commerce, Jackson Morris and Ian McConnell led the way with 14 points each and Creed Dunbar had seven points.
The Spartans were set to host Jackson County on Saturday and will host Lakeview Academy at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday. The Tigers (11-12, 1-7) will host Providence Christian at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
