SPIRIT ITEMS SALE
Fun spirit items like pom-poms and face tattoos will be on sale in the Sinkwich Spartan Center lobby all day Wednesday and Thursday, so stock up on your green and white before you cheer on the team!
We are hoping that many of our families will elect to go to the game in Atlanta--please know that students will not be counted absent for the day. To accommodate our players, cheerleaders, band, and spirit buses for Upper & Middle School students, we WILL NOT be running our bus routes on Friday, December 8.
UPPER SCHOOL will be closed on Friday. We hope that most of our students will join the fun and attend the game. Spirit Bus information is below.
MIDDLE SCHOOL will be closed as well. We will have some teachers on hand to provide supervision for any families that will need that for their middle school child(ren). We will be reaching out to parents early in the week to determine numbers for this supervision option at school, so we may plan accordingly. Extended Day will be offered and will remain open until 5:45 p.m.
SPIRIT BUSES FOR Middle School and Upper School:
Chaperoned by teachers
$35 cost includes the $22 ticket into the game. It does NOT include snacks or lunch, so please provide your child with money to eat.
Spirit buses are open to Middle and Upper School students ONLY (no Preschool or Lower School students).
Buses will depart from the Spartan Center at 7:00 a.m. on Friday. Depending on the game and traffic, our plan is to return to campus between 3:00-3:30 p.m. We will accommodate the demand to the best of our ability, but priority will be given to the early registrants.
Please note that students who elect not to ride the spirit bus back to school following the game will ONLY be allowed to leave MBS with their own families, and this must be communicated in writing to the student’s Division Office prior to the game. Contact your child’s division directly with questions.
PRESCHOOL and LOWER SCHOOL will be open, but students are welcome to travel to the game with friends and family. Teachers will plan according to the number of students in attendance at school. Students who miss the school day will not be counted absent. The Preschool and Lower School Division Offices will contact families via SpartanNet to determine attendance at school on Friday. Stay & Play/Extended Day schedules remain the same.
Thank you and GO SPARTANS!
