After School Programs
Stay and Play
K3/K4: 12:00-3:45 p.m.
Students who are 4 years old and older are eligible for extended day programming. Students spend time playing outdoors, eat an afternoon snack (brought from home), and enjoy indoor free choice play. They will also have nap/rest time after lunch.
Pre-first: 1:30-3:45 p.m.

The fee for Stay and Play is $5.00 per day for any portion of the day from 12:00-3:45 p.m. Parents may also register for daily Stay and Play participation for the entire school year at a discounted rate of $750.00.
Extended Day
3:20 - 5:45 p.m.

The Extended Day program is available for students age 4 through eighth grade until 5:45 p.m. daily. Students have the opportunity for outdoor recreation time as well as small group activities. A quiet, supervised study hall is also offered daily for Lower School and Middle School students. Click here for more information.
The fee for the Extended Day program is $20.00 per day for any portion of the day from 3:45-5:45 p.m. Fees are billed monthly to your account. Parents may also register for Extended Day participation for the entire school year at a discounted rate of $2,500 (a 30% discount or 55 days of Extended Day participation at no charge).

Please note that Extended Day services are not available on schoolwide early dismissal days or for school days preceding a holiday or school break.
Pick-up
FetchKids will be used for all Extended Day pick-up. Parents and authorized guardians must use the FetchKids app to notify staff of their arrival and complete the dismissal process. Pick-up locations:- Preschool & Lower School: Barrett Hall
- Middle School: Bertelsmann Building
- Families with students in multiple divisions: Barrett Hall
Enrichment
Athens Academy offers a variety of after-school enrichment classes during the school year for students in grades K4-8.
Enrichment instructors include members of our dedicated faculty and staff as well as small business owners from the local community. Past offerings have included cooking, art, dance, martial arts, robotics, animation and more.
