The world we live in is filled with creative expression. Drama courses at Athens Academy provide students the opportunity to develop the skills necessary to become effective communicators, spontaneous thinkers, and positive team contributors. In fact, many of our students have gone on to successfully pursue the theater arts at the collegiate and professional levels.

  • Pre- and Lower Schools

The Athens Academy drama experience begins in the Pre- and Lower Schools with annual grade-level productions.  These productions help students build their confidence and communication skills.

Students in Middle School participate in drama classes several times each week. These classes focus on presentation skills, teamwork, problem solving, and creative expression.  Seventh and eighth grade students also have the option to participate in the annual Middle School play.
