Positions Currently Open:

Athens Academy's Learning Resource Center is seeking several tutors for the 2019-20 school year. These are part-time, independent contractor positions that do not qualify for benefits. We are accepting applications for tutors with expertise in the following areas:
  • History, grades 9-12
  • Statistics, grades 11-12
  • Study Strategies, grades 5-12
Applicants with expertise in any of the above subject areas should complete this application form.

Athens Academy is currently looking for teachers to work with children ages 3 years old through eighth grade in their Extended Day Program. The work hours can be flexible to accommodate individual schedules. These are part-time positions. Experience working with young children is preferred.  
Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Monitor and report behavior of students according to approved procedures. 
  • Check and assist students with homework as necessary.
  • Coordinate the distribution of afternoon snacks.
  • Oversee students while involved in activities, maintaining order and procedures during all activities.
  • Work cooperatively and consistently with Extended Day Program Coordinator, teachers, and parents.
  • Attend designated orientation.
