For the past 57 years, Athens Academy has been the leader in education in Northeast Georgia. With a focus on EACH child, our faculty are preparing our students for that next step in their journey to college and life beyond. Whether you have a Preschooler learning his letters, a Lower Schooler developing her writing skills, a Middle Schooler solving algebraic problems, or an Upper Schooler exploring genetics, Spartan students are guided by expert teachers who help make learning creative and impactful.
Along with Academics, Athens Academy places strong emphasis Arts, Athletics, and Service and Leadership. These four pillars ensure that Spartan students have a healthy balance of tools as they navigate life. We are proud of:
- Our graduates, who have matriculated at colleges and universities across 30 states, Washington, D.C., and even internationally.
- Service and leadership initiatives, which begin in the Preschool with the Kindness Club and continue through all divisions.
- Our strong athletic program, with 53 State Championships.
- The fact that Athens Academy is the only school in the area providing string orchestra education to ALL second grade students.

Athens Academy
Athens Academy is an independent, co-educational school for students in K3 through 12th grade, located on a beautiful 152-acre campus in Northeast Georgia. For over 50 years, Athens Academy has pursued its mission of Excellence with Honor through academics, athletics, fine arts, and service and leadership.
