Barberitos Track Classic (Oconee County HS):

Jasmine Barrow was the only first place finisher for Athens Academy. Barrow placed first in the triple jump (39 '4") and second in the long jump (18' 6") which is a new school record. Click [HERE] to view the full results from the Barberitos Track Classic.

Cook Holliday Rotary Invitational (Winder-Barrow HS):

WINDER-BARROW WINS HOLLIDAY CLASSIC: At the Cook Holliday Classic at Winder, the Lady Bulldoggs – led by multi-event winners Keonna Hamler, Tari Lampkin and Rebekah Freeman finished first among four teams with 162 points. Athens Academy finished second with 81 points.
Keonna Hamler won the 100 meters and 100-meter hurdles, Lampkin won the long jump and triple jump and Freeman won the discus and shot put.
Winder-Barrow also got victories from Teonna Hamler (200), Christina Fulcher (high jump), Brianna Bailey (pole vault) and the 400 relay team (Bailey, Lampkin, Keonna Hamler, Teonna Hamler).
Athens Academy got first-place finishes from Jasmine Barrow (400), Lexye Hill (800), Addison Ollendick-Smith (300 hurdles) and the 1,600 relay team (Ollendick-Smith, Kayva Menke, Hill, Barrow).

The Bulldoggs had seven event champions to win the four-team meet with 137 points, edging out Athens Academy, which had nine event winners and 136 points.
For Winder-Barrow, Djangmah Narhmartey won the 400 meters, Antonio Bishop won the 300-meter hurdles, Adrius Andrews won the high jump, J.C. Green won the long jump, Gavin Fredrickson won the triple jump and Joey Klem won the shot put. The Bulldoggs’ 1,600-meter relay team (Andrews, Aiden Smith, Narhmartey, Jacob Pursell) was also victorious.

For Athens Academy, Logan Payne won the 100 and 200 and Graham Blanks won the 1,600 and 3,200, Elliot Williamson won the 110 hurdles, Simon Sikes won the 800, Stewart Jackson won the pole vault and Len’Neth Whitehead won the discus. The Spartans’ 400 relay team (Whitehead, Payne, Quintaevious Clay, Daniel Rouhani) was also victorious.
