Media Center Book Club is Back!

After a couple of years off thanks to a global pandemic, the book club is back...and what better way to kick it off than with a book about the aftermath of a mysterious flu that wipes out most of the world?! The club, which is open to everyone, will meet on Monday, March 27, to discuss Emily St. John Mandel's novel Station Eleven. The meeting will be held from 3:30-4:30 p.m. in the Middle/Upper School Media Center. This is a class novel for twelfth grade this year and a miniseries on HBOMax right now.

Coming up on Tuesday, May 2, the club will discuss The Distance Between Us: A Memoir by Reyna Grande which focuses on the immigrant experience, a topic covered in seventh grade (Coming to America) and on into Upper School.
