All-Star Teams Named - Prep RoundUp (ABH)

ALL-STAR TEAMS NAMED: The rosters for the Clarke-Oconee All-Star game, set for Saturday, March 16 (girls at 6 p.m., boys at 7:30 p.m.) at Athens Christian, were announced Monday.
For the girls, Team Burgess (coached by Oconee County’s Thad Burgess) will consist of Mikaylyn Glover and Samiha Rittenberry of Clarke Central, Yasmen Davenport and Jayla Allen of Cedar Shoals, Ansley Hall of North Oconee, Madison Britt of Prince Avenue Christian, Omeka Bhatia of Monsignor Donovan and Sybille Foucart, Vanessa Sekandi and LaNya Scott of Oconee County.

Team Beacham (coached by Athens Christian’s Van Beacham) will include Greer Moseley of Athens Academy, Toria Smith and Kelijah Evans of Clarke Central, Jeanetta Elder of Cedar Shoals, Sara English of Oconee County, Tatum Thompson of North Oconee, Sally Schutz of Westminster Christian, Janie Henderson of Prince Avenue Christian, and Emma Deal and Julia Peroni of Oconee County.

For the boys, Team Burgess will include John Sims and Will Shuford of Oconee County, Eric Franklin and Quincy Canty of Cedar Shoals, Andrew Cheek of Prince Avenue Christian, Jaiquez Smith Demetrius Glenn and Kenzavion Watson of Clarke Central, Matt Marvel of Athens Academy and Adam Weynand of North Oconee.
Team Strong (coached by Athens Christian’s Carlos Strong) will include Buck Leffingwell of Prince Avenue Christian, Joseph Lusk of Monsignor Donovan, Trey Johnson and Cameron Stokes of Clarke Central. Tyler Johnson and Quintyis Dillard of Cedar Shoals, Wes Wilson of North Oconee, Larry Jang of Athens Academy and Carter Huckaby of Oconee County.
