Spartan 5K 2026
5k UPDATE/JANUARY 30, 2026: Because of inclement weather and with everyone’s safety in mind, we’ve decided not to hold any in-person races on Saturday, January 31. The Spartan 5K has been moved to a virtual event, and all 5K participants have been automatically transferred. This gives you the flexibility to run your 5K (3.1 miles) anywhere, anytime when conditions are better — any time before Saturday, February 7, at 12:00 noon. Spartans Unite! Come join us at the 41st Annual Spartan 5K! This year the Spartan 5K and Spartan Sprint will be held on Saturday, January 31, 2026. A favorite race of runners across the Southeast, the 5K has a super fast one-mile downhill finish, RFID chip timing, and beautiful handmade pottery awards by r.wood studio.
