Athens Academy's Anna Marian Block, East Jackson's Sue Ann Morales and Chase Kennedy honored by cross country coaches

Athens Academy’s Anna Marian Block, East Jackson’s Sue Ann Morales and East Jackson’s Chase Kennedy were voted the runners of the year by cross country coaches last week.

Block, who won the Class A Private state girls title, and Morales, who won the Class 3A girls title, were named the girls co-runners of the year. Kennedy was named the boys runner of the year after collecting his second consecutive Class 3A boys title.

North Oconee boys and girls teams were voted the teams of the year.
