College Counseling

The College Counseling program is an important component of the Upper School at Athens Academy.  Students begin learning about the college counseling process during their freshman and sophomore years at Athens Academy, and more detailed instruction begins with the Junior College Tour in the fall during interim week.  Preparation for both students and parents continues with Junior Seminar and Junior College Night in the spring and concludes with the Senior College Night and Senior Seminar in the fall.

Click the links below for tips on preparing for college. The College Planning Guide (given to tenth and eleventh graders on College Night) also has detailed information for both parents and students.
